PTC® has calibrated thermometers for over 60 years and is now accredited by A2LA to ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL, Z540-1. Please download our scope of accreditation from A2LA.

This certification will contain the as received and as returned calibration results of the UUT at 3 points across the UUT's temperature scale. In addition to the readings, certification will include laboratory conditions, information on the primary standards and a statement of uncertainty. Certifications will include; as received and as returned data; a statement of uncertainty; laboratory conditions; and information on the primary standards.
In temperature calibration, PTC® has chosen primarily products from Hart Scientific, which supplies most national and international standards labs with calibration equipment. The Hart Scientific Super Thermometer 1575A is center stage along with several SPRT’s featuring calibration traceable to the fixed points of the ITS-90 temperature scale. A water triple point cell (0.01°C ±0.0001) is used to correct any drift that the SPRT may experience on an ongoing basis.
Designed for hospitals and industrial applications such as: pipe surfaces, weld preheats, boilers, cylindrical tanks, motors, generators, engines, bearings, incubators, towel warmers, hot plates, griddles, die-cast dies, foundry core boxes, annealing ovens and any surface where temperature readings are essential.
