This stand is for use with PTC®'s line of pencil style durometers and is also fully compatible with durometers of other manufacturers.

The Precision engineered durometer stand has a calibrated 400g deadweight to provide the ASTM D2240 recommended force for durometer types OO. When properly used this stand and your durometer will make highly accurate hardness readings. ASTM D2240 Type 1 Specimen to Indenter.

The support table is self-aligning for use with a non-parallel material.
