The 470 Test stand features a 400g deadweight and is suitable for PTC® durometer types SL, OO, and OOO, as well as fully compatible with durometers from other manufacturers.

Precision-engineered durometer stands are designed to apply the specimen to the indenter in a manner that minimizes shock. When used correctly, this stand and your durometer will increase the repeatability of hardness measurements. The table is self-aligning, allowing for the testing of non-parallel material to increase repeatability. These stands will test materials up to 3" thick. Custom stands are available for larger samples.
