Description

ASTM suggests that better repeatability may be obtained by adding a mass centered on the axis of the indenter. Recommended mass for Type A, B and O is 1kg. This weight provides a constant load for handheld measurements. Designed specifically to assist in taking durometer hardness measurements of printing rollers, the Model 441 helps to remove user error when taking critical roller hardness readings.

While a durometer stand will provide maximum repeatability, many applications do not allow a test stand to be used. This weight provides a constant load for hand-held measurements.
