Clip-on Pipe Surface Thermometer

Models 483, 484, 485 F or C These bimetal thermometers measure the temperature of pipes, and tubes having diameters of 3/4" to 2-3/8" in diameter. For all temperature ranges, there are 3 different clip sizes; Small (S), Medium (M), and Large (L). The accuracy of the thermometer is ±2% of full scale range.

These thermometers work on a convection-radiation principle. The instrument is quickly fastened to a pipe by pushing the spring clip over the pipe until it snaps into place. The insulating and seating cup rests on the surface of the pipe and protects the bimetal sensor from drafts.

PTC Metrology® is accredited by A2LA to ISO/IEC 17025 ANSI/NCSL and Z540-1 for NIST traceabel surface thermometer calibration services.
