General Purpose Lab Stainless Steel Stem Thermometers The PTC® Models 0.70 and 0.70SP Stainless Steel Stem Thermometers have a head diameter of 1-11/16"; the 0.71 is 1-5/32"; and Models 0.72, 0.72M, and 0.72MM have a 2-5/16" head diameter. Stem lengths range from 2-1/2" to 72". These thermometers have stem diameters of 1/4" (6 mm) and fit all standard makes of thermowells. Thermowells should be used whenever the stem would be exposed to pressure, corrosion, or mechanical forces. Standard mounting is 0.330" diameter plain bushing, optional 1/4" NPT or 1/2" NPT mounting are available. |

The instruments are individually calibrated and can be set exactly to any desired working temperature. Accuracy of these instruments is ±1% of full scale range. Minimum immersion length is 2" in liquids and 4" in gases. Minimum immersion for 25°F to 125°F range is 3-1/2" in liquids and 5" in gases. PTC Metrology® is accredited by A2LA to ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1. Calibartion services for Digital or Analog Stem Thermometers. Certifications will include; as received and as returned data; a statement of uncertainty; laboratory conditions; and information on the primary standards.
