PTC's Model 618, Dry Stylus Recording Oven Thermometer records temperatures up to 500°F (260°C) over 1 or 24 hour time spans. The instrument uses a spring wound precision chart drive which is silicone lubricated to operate at higher temperatures. The Model 618 should not be allowed to exceed its maximum range of 500°F. The recording surface of the chart is heat resistant and gives a permanent record of the temperature measured over time. This thermometer is ideally suited for measuring temperatures in paint ovens, curing ovens, continuous belt ovens (baking pastry), or other processes that demand a time base temperature profile. The Model 618 is manufactured from quality materials. The spring wound chart drive is mechanical and requires no batteries. Available temperature & time ranges see table below. |
