The PTC Asker Type C Durometers are built to meet or exceed specifications SRIS-0101 and JIS K-7312 physical testing methods for molded products of thermosetting polyurethane elastomers.

The model 603 durometer can be used either with a test stand, hand-held or with the constant load weight. Please refer to the stand selction guide for appropriate instruments. The PTC® 603 Durometer comes complete with carrying case, test block and a magnetic max hand that holds the peak reading until reset.

Meets Standard K7312

PTC Metrology is Accredited by A2LA for durometer calibration to ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1. NIST Traceable certification is available for all durometer types covered by current ASTM D2440, ASTM F1957, ISO 868, ISO 7619, or DIN 53505 standards. The Calibration Report will include both "as received" and "as left" data. Complete Durometer calibration includes: indenter geometry and extension, indicator linearity from 0 to 100 and mainspring force.
