Instrument Calibration

Calibration can be required:

with a new instrument
when a specified time period is elapsed
when a specified usage (operating hours) has elapsed
when an instrument has had a shock or vibration which potentially may have put it out of calibration
whenever observations appear questionable

Calibration is the process of comparing a known standard to the UUT (Unit Under Test ). Calibration does not include any adjustments or repairs required to bring the unit within manufacturers specifications. Calibration includes as received and as left readings and the correction. If an adjustment is needed the customer will be notified of additional charges.
