PTC Metrology™ is accredited by A2LA to ISO/IEC 17025 (NIST Traceable) and provides calibration and certification services for our bimetal surface thermometers, surface probes with readouts and non contact IR thermometers. Many quality systems require that certified thermometers be used where precise measurements are of critical importance. PTC offers surface temperature calibration on our vast selection of surface thermometers manufactured by us in the USA. Customer's Specified Temperature Points A2LA Accredited Certification

This certification will contain the as before and after calibration results of the UUT at the point(s) selected by the customer. The points may be selected from the chart below. In addition to the readings, certification will include laboratory conditions, information on the primary standards and a statement of uncertainty. Cost of the certification will depend on which temperature points the customer chooses. To assist you in selecting temperature points, please refer to ASTME-77 and NIST recommendations. Minimum charge for customer selected temperature points is $65.00 per instrument. Please note that certification prices do not include any labor, adjustments, repairs or parts.

A2LA Certification NIST Traceable 3 Logged Temperature Points

Same as above, but special price includes 3 different points across the UUT's temperature scale.

Basic Certification Traceable to NIST (non A2LA) - without logged points

This certification is best for customer's needing only calibration traceability to NIST without the added cost of logging the calibration results, A2LA accredited certification or meeting the requirements of ISO guide 17025. Although no specific points will be logged, UUT's referred to will be calibrated at three or more points over the UUT's range. Up to five instruments of the same model and range can be listed on the certification for the basic price. Additional units above quantity of five can be added for a nominal fee. This certification will not list any adjustments or out of tolerance conditions and only applies to bimetal surface thermometers manufactured by PTC Instruments. Series 310, 314, 484, 486, 570 and 675.

Price: $67.00 (up to 5 instruments of the same model and range). Certification prices do not include labor, adjustment, repair or replacement parts. $7.50 for each additional instrument above quantity of five.

Temperature Measurement and Test Equipment : In temperature calibration, PTC has chosen primarily products from Hart Scientific, which supplies most national and international standards labs with calibration equipment. Hart’s 3125 has a flat heated surface that’s stable and uniform. Hart’s Model 2200 Temperature Controller gives you the best possible conditions for calibrating surface sensors. The test surface is milled aluminum for an absolutely smooth and true calibration work area with maximum thermal conductivity and an accuracy of ±0.5°C to 200°C and ±1°C to 400°C.
