202DO PENCIL DUROMETER TYPE DO
575.00
Type DO: For Dense textile windings, moderately hard rubber, elastomers
The PTC® Analog Pencil Style Durometers are manufactured to meet or exceed current ASTM D2240 specifications and designed to measure the indentation hardness of hard rubber, plastics, and
substances such as acrylic, delrin, kevlar, pvc, nylon and lexan. The 360° dial display features bold, easy to read numbers indicating a specific value, with a 0.2 resolution.
A magnetic max hand retains the peak reading until reset. The durometer's 1/2" diameter base (1.3cm) is the smallest base permitted by ASTM specifications. This allows it to be used in confined or
hard to reach areas other durometers cannot test. The dial has a red zone to indicate unreliable readings. Readings below 10/D may be inexact and should be measured with a type A Durometer.

212DO DIGITAL PENCIL DUROMETER TYPE DO
1175.00
Type DO: For Dense textile windings, moderately hard rubber, elastomers
The PTC® Digital Pencil Style Durometers are manufactured to meet or exceed current ASTM D2240 specifications and designed to measure the indentation hardness of dense textile windings, hard rubber and
elastomers. Due to the inconsistency and variety of most textile windings we recommend sending a material sample to PTC for an evaluation prior to ordering a durometer.
This service is offered at no charge. The LCD digital display features bold, easy to read numbers indicating a specific value, with a 0.1 resolution. A standard electronic maximum hold button retains the
peak reading until reset. The durometer's 1/2" diameter base (1.3cm) is the smallest base permitted by ASTM D2240 specifications. This allows it to be used in confined or hard to reach areas other
durometers cannot test.
The Digital Durometer Software allows the users to automatically collect, record, and print test data, create statistical data including tolerance, range, mean, variance, standard deviation in graph
format and several languages. The software interfaces with the Digital Durometer through the provided RS-232 cable.

413 ERGO STYLE DUROMETER TYPE DO
575.00
Type DO: For Dense textile windings, moderately hard rubber, elastomers
TThe PTC® Ergo Style Durometers are manufactured to meet or exceed current ASTM D2240 specifications and designed to measure indentation hardness of rubber, elastomers, plastics, wood, leather, foams and
sponge rubber. Models 410, 411, and 413 are all similar in outward appearance, however, by using various combinations of spring forces these durometers cover a wide range of material hardness.
They have a removable threaded mounting knob at the top of the instrument and the base tapers to a 1" x 1" base. (25.4mm x 25.4mm)
These Durometers come complete with Test Block and Carrying Case. The Model 410 and 413 come with magnetic max hand for indicating peak reading.
For unique or unusual materials that are not covered by other durometer types, PTC® recommends sending a full hardness range of your material for evaluation to
determine the durometer type to match your material.

502DO ANALOG e2000 DUROMETER TYPE DO
575.00
Type DO: Dense textile windings, moderately hard rubber, elastomers and plastics.
The ultimate durometer for accurate hand held hardness measurements. PTC®'s Model 502DO has a rubber grip and the 1.25" (3.2cm) diameter presser foot has a large landing area for increased stability and
maximum repeatability. The durometer is built to meet or exceed current ASTM D2240 specifications for Type DO durometers. The instrument uses a dial gauge with a full 360 degree scale and bold,
easy to read numbers. The dial scale can easily be read to 0.2 point accuracy. A standard maximum reading hand holds the peak reading until reset. The dial has a red zone below 10 to indicate
unreliable readings.
PTC®' digital durometers come complete with test block , carrying case and NIST traceable certificate from PTC Metrology.
ASTM "R" Base Size Specific Durometer
Any e2000 Millennium Style Durometer can be made as an "R" designation. The "R" designation specifies a presser foot diameter of 18 ± 0.5mm (0.71 ± 0.02in) in diameter,
while the spring forces and indenter configurations remain the same. Please specify the "R" Type when ordering. US Patent D436,874
