e2000 Style Digital Durometers
The ultimate durometers for accurate hand held hardness measurements. The PTC®e2000 Digital Durometers are manufactured to meet or exceed current ASTM D2240 specifications and designed to measure the indentation hardness of rubber, elastomers, and other rubberlike substances such as neoprene, silicone, vinyl, nitrile, and butyl. They can also be used for soft plastics, felt, leather and wood. The Model 511A Durometer with it's ergo design is easy to grip and the 1.25" diameter base (3.2cm) has a large landing area for increased stability and maximum repeatability. All PTC® digital durometers come complete with test block, carrying case and a NIST traceable calibration certificate from PTC Metrology® . |

| Digital Pencil Style Durometers |
The Digital Durometer Software is state-of-the art and is an ideal tool for lab use and for documentation according to ISO 9000. |
The PTC® Pencil Style Digital Durometers have all the features of the e2000 durometers with a redesigned 1/2" diameter base (1.3cm) which is the smallest base permitted by ASTM D2240 specifications. This allows it to be used in confined or hard to reach areas other durometers cannot test. A knurled surface gives a more secure grip when making hand held readings.
All Digital Durometers come complete with Test Block, Carrying Case and a NIST traceable certification. PTC® has a calibration recall service on all durometers calibrated by our laboratory. Approximately 30 days prior to the calibration due date a notification is sent by our calibration department.
Available in Type A,B,C,D, DO, O and OO.

PTC Metrology is Accredited by A2LA for durometer calibration to ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1. NIST Traceable certification is available for all durometer types covered by current ASTM D2440, ASTM F1957, ISO 868, ISO 7619, or DIN 53505 standards. The Calibration Report will include both "as received" and "as left" data. Complete Durometer calibration includes: indenter geometry and extension, indicator linearity from 0 to 100 and mainspring force. |
