Electronic Circular Chart Recorders now have 4 speeds to choose from. The control panel features 2 selector switches: one for chart speed, the other for temperature range. Switch from 6 hour, 24 hour 7 day and 31 day chart speeds, and from three temperature ranges for frozen, chill and ambient environments. The external stainless steel probe allows you to measure temperature of air, gas, liquids, and semi solids. It has a quartz clock time movement, motorized chart advance and temperature accuracy of ±2°F (±1°C). The recorder comes in °C or °F models, and run on 120v or 220v AC, 50/60 Hz. A rear compartment houses a holder for 8 size AA akaline batteries, which will provide 48 hours of continuous recording in the event of a power failure.

Current temperature is easily read on a large LED display, while a permanent record is traced on paper charts. Both charts and pens are easily replaced in a matter of seconds.
