Many quality assurance systems require that calibrated or certified instruments be used where accurate measurements are of importance. 3 Temperature Points PTC's Choosing NIST Traceable and A2LA Accredited Certification ( Air Immersion NIST only )
This certification will satisfy most quality requirements by providing NIST traceable as received and as returned calibration results of the UUT ( unit under test) . The calibration points will be of PTC's choice and will include three points across the UUT's scale.
Customer's Selected Temperature Points NIST Traceable and A2LA Accredited Certification ( Air Immersion NIST only )
This certification will contain the as received and as returned calibration results of the UUT at the point(s) selected by the customer. Information on the customer's UUT and PTC's calibration standards, statement of uncertainty, laboratory conditions and information on the primary standards will also be on the certification. Cost of the certification will depend on which temperature points the customer chooses. To assist you in choosing temperature points, please refer to ASTME-77 and NIST recommendations. Minimum charge for customer selected temperature points ranges from $65.00 to $115.00per instrument.
Basic Certification Traceable to NIST (non A2LA)
without logged temperature points
This certification is best for customer's needing only calibration traceability to NIST without the added cost of logging the calibration results, A2LA accredited certification or meeting the requirements of ISO guide 17025. Although no specific points will be logged, UUT's referred to will be calibrated at three or more points over the UUT's range. Up to five instruments of the same model and range can be listed on the cert for the basic price. Additional units above quantity of five can be added for a nominal fee. This certification will not list any adjustments or out of tolerance conditions.
Certification price does not include labor, adjustment, repairs, or replacement parts.
PTC Metrology is accredited by A2LA to ISO/IEC 17025/ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 for Durometer calibration. (Certificate number 1896.01) All Calibration Standards are NIST Traceable.
A written certification for any durometer covered by current ASTM D2440, ASTM F1957, ISO 868, ISO 7619 and DIN 53505 specifications are available from PTC Metrology . Each certification provides "as received" and "as left" data. The points calibrated are normally every ten points over the durometer's scale.

Our lab offers pressure calibration from 6 to12140 psig with an uncertainty of 50 parts in 106 with a Ruska 2400 HL Deadweight Tester. Our laboratory has the capabilities to calibrate general purpose gauges, utility, industrial and process gauges, test gauges, pressure recorders and data loggers.
PTC Metrology offers standard humidity certifications; which include as received and as returned data; a statement of uncertainty; laboratory conditions; and information on the primary standards.
Steel Hardness Block Certification
Steel hardness blocks are certified in accordance with ASTM E18. Each block is tested five times and the average value is reported, provided that their range conforms to Table 21 in ASTM E18. Certification information includes: type of standard, model number, serial number, date calibrated, and due date.
